(WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass.) – Williamstown Theatre Festival (WTF) launches FestEx, a shuttle service from Great Barrington to Williamstown, for the month of July for Saturday matinees beginning July 16 through July 30.

In an effort to make the Festival more accessible to all Berkshire residents and tourists, the Festival has committed itself to reaching out to southern Berkshire theatergoers without the means or desire to drive, for $20 round-trip.

Departing at noon from the parking lot of the Jane Iredale Mineral Cosmetics corporate headquarters (located at 51 Church Street in Great Barrington), FestEx will take theatergoers from one end of Berkshire County to the other. The shuttle will make one stop along the way in Lenox at Hampton Inn & Suites (445 Pittsfield Rd/ Route 7 near the Holmes Road intersection) and arrive in time for a 2 p.m. matinee at the ’62 Center for Theatre and Dance on the Williams College campus.

The trip will take 70 minutes each way to complete. Those riding the shuttle may bring their own picnic lunches or order a picnic online from Nejaimes (413.448.2274, nejaimeswine.com) at Holmes Road; which will deliver the picnics to the bus stop at Hampton Inn & Suites. All types of beverages are permitted.

For shuttle schedule or to reserve a seat on the shuttle, visit FestEx or call the WTF Box Office at 413.567.3400.
