(HUDSON, N.Y.) – The streets, alleys, parks, galleries, nightclubs and restaurants of Hudson will be pouring forth with music this weekend when the third annual Hudson Music Festival, featuring free performances throughout the city, takes place from Friday, August 9, through Sunday, August 11, 2013. The festival will showcase artists from around the region and beyond, representing all styles of music including R&B, jazz, blues, folk, and world-beat.

The festival will partner with the Hudson Black Arts & Cultural Festival, also taking place this weekend, and Club Helsinki Hudson, and also plans to have a free mobile app directing visitors to music spots around the city.

Last year the festival boasted over 350 musicians playing over 100 performances over the three-day weekend, almost doubling the number of the first year. The estimated attendance over the three-day weekend was over 10,000 people.
