(HUDSON, N.Y.) – The Faux Meek, a relatively new indie-rock group comprised of members of some of the region’s most popular bands, bring their moody style of organic drone-rock featuring vocal harmonies, electric guitar and dreamy keyboards in a return engagement to Club Helsinki Hudson on Saturday, August 24, 2013, at 9pm. The band is featured as part of Helsinki’s commitment to new, emerging and regional artists.

Lead vocals in the Faux Meek are shared by guitarist/songwriter Josh Miesmer (Two Gun Man) and keyboardist Damara Rose Stolfo, formerly of Luxury Flats, who also contributes songwriting to the group. Gabe Schaftlein provides the group’s underpinning on bass guitar, and Rob Williams, who shared membership in Mother Fletcher with Miesmer and Schaftlein, holds down the drum chair and contributes backup vocals.
