Rock Legend Dave Mason to Play the Colonial

dave mason v(PITTSFIELD, Mass.) – Legendary rocker Dave Mason, a founding member of the English rock group Traffic, will perform at the Colonial on Wednesday, October 9, 2013, at 7:30pm. Mason is best known for writing and recording “Feelin’ Alright” with Traffic (later made into a hit by Joe Cocker) and for his 1977 soft-rock hit single, “We Just Disagree.”

Dave Mason is a kind of Zelig of rock ‘n’ roll, having played, recorded or performed with a who’s who of rock music: Jimi Hendrix, the Rolling Stones, George Harrison, Eric Clapton, Steve Winwood, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Fleetwood Mac, Graham Nash, Stephen Stills, Rita Coolidge, Delaney & Bonnie, Leon Russell, Ron Wood, and Paul McCartney.
