ZACH DEPUTY to BRING ORIGINAL POP-SOUL to HELSINKI HUDSON
(HUDSON, N.Y.) – Singer-songwriter Zach Deputy will bring his original pop-soul music to Club Helsinki Hudson on Sunday, January 26, 2014, at 8pm. Deputy, who calls his danceable sound “island-infused, drum ‘n’ bass, gospel-ninja-soul,” creates the sonic palette of a full band via the use of state-of-the-art looping technology created live and in real time.

As Lamb-Shapiro points out in Promise Land, a blend of memoir and reportage, everyone is affected by self-help, an industry that generates a billion dollars a year by trading in the many aphorisms that we encounter every day in the media, on coffee mugs and t-shirts, and in conversation with family and friends.
BINDLESTIFF CIRKUS BRINGS MONTHLY WINTER CABARET to HELSINKI HUDSON
(HUDSON, N.Y.) – Hudson’s own Bindlestiff Family Cirkus continues its wintertime tradition of hosting a monthly cabaret, featuring a variety of circus, theater, comedy and musical entertainers, at Club Helsinki Hudson with four shows: its adult-oriented cabaret, kicking off at 9pm on Saturday, January 25, 2014; Friday, February 14; and Saturday, March 29; plus a Sunday matinee show on March 30 geared to the whole family. Audience members attending in costume will receive a discounted admission.
