Shaun O'Boyle(WEST STOCKBRIDGE, Mass.) – There will a reception for artists Shaun O’Boyle and Mariah Doren at No. 6 Depot Gallery on Saturday, March 1, 2014, at 6pm, in honor of their exhibitions currently on display at the gallery, located at 6 Depot Street, in the Old Train Station in West Stockbridge.

Shaun O’Boyle’s Housatonic River: Transitional Landscapes explores the river which is central to the history and culture of the Berkshires. The early use of the river and the landscape’s memory of this past is at the center of this project.

Mariah DorenMariah Doren’s Constructed Landscapes play with the elusive ideal of the natural by making images of places that have been highly manipulated and cultivated; which are then re-assembled and re-imagined.

No. Six Depot Gallery is located in the beautiful central space of the historic West Stockbridge Train Station. It is adjacent to No. Six Depot Roastery and Café — a small-batch coffee roastery and café open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, including wine and beer. The gallery showcases local and international artists with exhibition openings every six weeks, film screenings, live music, dance performances, poetry readings, lectures, coffee and tea tastings, book launches and pop up shops.
