(NORTH ADAMS, Mass.) – Iron and Wine, the musical vehicle of acclaimed singer-songwriter Sam Beam, returns to MASS MoCA on Sunday, June 22, 2014, at 6pm. Country duo The Secret Sisters will warm up the crowd for Iron and Wine.
Beam performed at MASS MoCA on April 16, 2011, to a sold-out crowd. His music is often compared to forerunners including Nick Drake, Neil Young and Elliott Smith.
The Secret Sisters are a real-life sister duo – Laura and Lydia Rogers of Alabama – who have drawn comparisons to the Everly Brothers for their organic harmonies.
Iron and Wine performs in MASS MoCA’s concert field on Sunday, June 22, at 6pm. A full bar, and dinner and snacks from Lickety Split before and during the show are available.
