Roots-Rock All-Stars Lukas Nelson and Tommy and Ruby Stinson to Play Benefit for FarmOn! Foundation at Helsinki Hudson

(HUDSON, N.Y.) – Roots-rockers Lukas Nelson, Tommy Stinson, and Ruby Stinson will perform in “FarmOn! Hoedown,” an all-star benefit concert for the FarmOn! Foundation at Club Helsinki Hudson on Friday, July 18, 2014, at 7pm (note early start time). Liana Gabel will also perform.

Nelson, who will be joined by his group, Promise of the Real, is the son of country music icon Willie Nelson, and carries on his father’s longtime support of independent farmers (with FarmAid) in this program. Tommy Stinson, who lives in Hudson, is the father of Ruby Stinson, as well as a cofounder of legendary alternative rock group the Replacements and a touring member of Guns ‘n’ Roses.

The specially priced event kicks off at 6pm with Local Libations, in partnership with TasteNY (taste.ny.gov), in the outdoor courtyard at Helsinki Hudson, followed by a locally sourced, farm-fresh menu by Helsinki’s acclaimed executive chef Hugh Horner.
