(LENOX, Mass.) – Rurbanism, a group show featuring the work of nine photographers united in theme by interpretations of the modern concept of Rural Urbanism, or an integration of Rural and Urban concepts, ideas and communities, or the disappearance of the duality between countryside and city, is on view at Sohn Fine Art Gallery through November. There will be an artist’s reception and a booksigning by Nathan Benn, one of the photographers featured in the exhibit, on Saturday, October 11, 2014, from 4 to 7pm.

The other photographers in the exhibition are John Atchley, John Clarke, Denise Chandler, Martin Greene, Eric Korenman, Yvette Lucas, Cassandra Sohn, and Monika Sosnowski.

Nathan Benn will be signing his book, “Kodachrome Memory: American Pictures 1972 – 1990.”

Rurbanism is the first curated exhibition at Sohn Fine Art since its move and expansion from Stockbridge to Lenox. The Gallery is now located at 69 Church Street. In addition to a larger space, and the expansion of all divisions of the company — the Gallery, Fine Art Archival Printing, and Workshops — Sohn Fine Art also offers framing.
