(LENOX, Mass.) – Author Paul Park will speak on “Writing Fiction: Different Rules for Different Games” at the Lenox Library on Sunday, January 18, 2015, at 4pm. Park has been writing literary science fiction and fantasy since 1987, and is the author of over a dozen novels and additional short story collections.

His latest novel, “All Those Vanished Engines,” was published in 2014. Kirkus Review called the book a “science fiction–ish, fantasy-ish, alternate history–ish work.” He teaches courses on science fiction and expository writing at Williams College.

This talk is part of the Distinguished Lecture Series, established at the library in 2007 by Boston University Professor of Music Jeremy Yudkin. All Distinguished Lectures are free, thanks to the generosity of the speakers themselves and donations from the public.
