Basilica Music Fest Features Diverse International and Experimental Music

(HUDSON, N.Y.) – The fourth annual Basilica SoundScape “anti-festival” takes place at Basilica Hudson from Friday through Sunday, September 11-13, 2015, and features a number of the UK’s leading experimental electronic musicians, including Blanck Mass; outsider house producer/Damon Albarn associate ACTRESS; and Haxan Cloak, aka Bobby Krlic, the Tri Angle record producer who collaborated with Björk on her most recent album.

Also performing is the Seattle-based artist, Perfume Genius and the Los Angeles noise-rock band (and Max Payne sound trackers/NIN tourmates) HEALTH. They’ll be joined by Michigan noise legends Wolf Eyes; Calgary post-punks Viet Cong; Norwegian singer and composer Jenny Hval; Chicagoan Haley Fohr’s experimental folk project Circuit Des Yeux; Weyes Blood (the psychedelic folk project of Natalie Mering); and traditional Indian tabla and sitar musicians Gourisankar and Indrijat Banajeer.

The event also includes film screenings, readings, dance parties and art exhibits.
