(HUDSON, N.Y.) – Hudson River Exchange, producer of curated marketplaces in and around Hudson, hosts two new events this weekend – the fourth “Handmade POP UP,” a series of rotating pop up markets held in the Hudson River Exchange studio space at 514 Warren Street, from Friday through Sunday, September 11-13, 2015; and a MINI Farm & Flea held Sunday, September 13, at Basilica Hudson, in conjunction with Basilica Soundscape music festival.

The Handmade POP UP, launched this past July, offers a fresh and ever-changing array of handmade and vintage goods. The fourth three-week-long installment of the series includes jewelry designer and engineer Nadine Medina; illustrated print maker Paper Wolf Design; and a collaboration between jeweler Razimus and vintage collector The Grey Birch. Called The Wanderer Collection, this joint venture – first conceived when Ashleigh Johns and Virginia Fretto were neighboring vendors at this year’s Hudson River Exchange Summer Market – incorporates The Grey Birch’s vintage fabrics into Razimus’s textile necklaces and bracelets.

Open Friday through Sunday, the Handmade POP UP also includes open studio time with Hudson River Exchange studio mates Steve’s Clothing and Russell Jones Jewelry.

Hudson River Exchange will co-host a MINI Farm & Flea at the Basilica on Sunday from 11am to 4pm
to coincide with the Basilica Soundscape, a weekend-long music festival presented in association with Pitchfork Media. MINI Farm & Flea presents 14 makers, collectors and farmers as well as brunch to preview the wildly successful Basilica Farm & Flea held Thanksgiving Weekend.

MINI Farm & Flea combines a diverse Hudson River marketplace with a rare opportunity to eat the delicious Hudson Valley-fresh provisions made by Nicole LoBue of Alimentary Kitchen and founder of Basilica-housed alternative learning center Kite’s Nest. On hand will be Hudson River Exchange studio mate Russell Jones with his anvil for make-your-own brass ID bracelets. The event is free to the public and family friendly. In the event of rain, the event will be held inside Basilica’s North Hall.
