(CATSKILL, N.Y.) – Brian Brooks Moving Company, the Chase Brock Experience, Jessica Lang Dance and Martha Graham Dance Company headline the third annual Hudson Valley Dance Festival on Saturday, October 10, 2015, at the Historic Catskill Point.

Brian Brooks Moving Company showcases “Torrent,” an expansive piece fluctuating between orderly patterns and unrestrained turbulence. The Brooklyn-based Chase Brock Experience premieres a new piece by its namesake known for his Broadway productions and independent dance choreography. Jessica Lang Dance, famous for its mastery of visual composition and incorporation of striking design elements, presents “Lines Cubed,” a piece inspired by the paintings of Dutch artist Piet Mondrian exploring line and color and their relation to emotions and mood. And Martha Graham Dance Company, celebrating its 90th anniversary this year, presents Nacho Duato’s “Rust,” an all-male dramatic quintet stirring up awareness of the plagues of terrorism and violence today. The one-performance-only event is produced by and benefits Dancers Responding to AIDS, a program of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
