(HUDSON, N.Y.) – The internationally acclaimed Ahn Trio will perform works by David Bowie, Jimi Hendrix, Prince, Pat Metheny, and others at Club Helsinki Hudson on Sunday, June 11, at 7pm, in the inaugural concert of The Rogovoy Salon, a new music and literary series curated and hosted by cultural journalist and music critic Seth Rogovoy.

The readings will be followed by book-signing and a DJ set by Holly Watson.

(WOODSTOCK, N.Y.) – Singers Amy Helm and Simi Stone top an all-star lineup of regional talent taking part in UNITY NOW! An All American Sock Hop, an anti-bigotry benefit concert at the Colony on Sunday, June 11, at 7pm. Based around a rollicking set of extraordinary danceable 1950s hits, the event is a celebration of diversity and equality, presented by students at the Paul Green Rock Academy.

Other artists include superstar bassist Gail Ann Dorsey (David Bowie, Gang of Four), superstar drummer Jerry Marotta (Peter Gabriel, Orleans, Hall & Oates), Zach Djanikian (the Brakes), Connor Kennedy, Robin the Hammer, Dan Littleton, and Bill Sims.
