“Whether you’re a conflicted idealist, a die-hard capitalist, something in between, or none of the above, you’ve probably found yourself befuddled by shopping malls and big box stores, and people’s behavior within them, during holiday shopping season,” MCLA Gallery 51 manager Ven Voisey said. “This upcoming exhibit is simultaneously an examination of that phenomenon, and a great chance support the local economy by adding artwork from a selection of MCLA Gallery 51 & Downstreet Art – exhibited artists to the holiday gift list.
The gallery will offer affordable, ready-to-be-sold-off-the wall art of a wide variety of media priced between 99 cents and 99 dollars.
Featured artists will include Ernest Carbone III, C. Ryder Cooley, Danielle Christensen, Laura Christensen, Scott Coffrin, Andrew Davis, Degeneration Dripping With Blood Fading Away, Joshua Field, Claire Fox, Jaye Fox, Mark Goldstein, Forest Graham, Sarah Haze, Melissa Lillie, Michael McKay, Jamie Mohr, Melanie Mowinski, Mark Mulherrin & Kirsten Warming, Lisa Nilsson, Rich Remsburg, Sean Riley, Jarvis Rockwell, Samuel Rowlett, Gregory Scheckler, Karin Stack, and Christina Stott Voisey.
