Amanda Palmer and Neil Gaiman to Perform at Bard College in April

(ANNADALE-on-HUDSON, N.Y.) – Amanda Palmer and Neil Gaiman will return to Bard College’s Sosnoff Theater for “An Evening with Neil Gaiman and Amanda Palmer” as part of Bard’s monthlong Fisher Center 10th Anniversary celebration on April 6, 2013, at 8 p.m. Author Gaiman (Coraline; The Graveyard Book) and musician/performance artist Palmer (Dresden Dolls; Amanda Palmer and the Grand Theft Orchestra) – who performed at Bard last September – are describing their appearance as “an intimate night of spoken word, songs, stories, chats with the audience, and more than a few surprises.” Tickets are $25, 30, 35, and 40 and go on sale Monday, January 14, at the Fisher Center box office for this performance and all the April anniversary events.

The monthlong celebration of the performing arts at Bard’s Fisher Center will also include performances by Jack Ferver and Qwan Company (April 3), So Percussion (April 12), a Faculty Dance Concert (April 26-28), and several concerts featuring the American Symphony Orchestra conducted by Leon Botstein.
