DAWN UPSHAW KICKS OFF RECITAL SERIES at BARD
(ANNANDALE-on-HUDSON, N.Y.) – Grammy Award–winning soprano Dawn Upshaw kicks off the popular Conservatory Sundays fall matinee concert series at the Richard B. Fisher Center for the Performing Arts on Sunday, September 15, 2013, at 3 p.m. “Dawn Upshaw and Friends” features Gilbert Kalish, piano; and Nicole Divall, viola; with singers from the Bard Conservatory: Ariadne Greif ’10, Clarissa Lyons ’11, Kameryn Lueng ’13, Marie Marquis ’13, Melissa Wegner ’08, and Ilana Zarankin ’11. The program includes works by John Dowland, Benjamin Britten, Maurice Ravel, Johannes Brahms, Paul Hindemith, Leoš Janá?ek, Béla Bartók, and David Lang.
