Poet Mark Wunderlich and Harpsichordist Andrew Appel to Perform as Duo at CR10 Arts

(LINLITHGO, N.Y.) – Prayers, Pastorals & Pagans, a duet program featuring music and poetry by harpsichordist Andrew Appel and poet Mark Wunderlich, takes place at CR10 Arts on Saturday, July 25, 2015, at 5pm.

Appel and Wunderlich, both of the Hudson Valley, consider themselves a mutual admiration society. They join forces to offer this duo recital of recent work, featuring poems by Wunderlich and music of Couperin played by Appel.

Mark Wunderlich is the author of three poetry collections, the most recent of which is “The Earth Avails” (Graywolf Press, 2014), which received the 2015 Rilke Prize and was a finalist for the Kingsley Tufts Award. He teaches literature and writing at Bennington College.

Andrew Appel is the artistic director for the Four Nations Ensemble, and has performed at Carnegie and Avery Fisher halls in New York City.

Suggested donation for the program is $10.
