(SHEFFIELD, Mass.) – Brooklyn Raga Massive, a collective of musicians devoted to Indian classical music in all its variety, from traditional raga to interpretations of contemporary minimalism, will perform in the Barn at Race Brook Lodge on Saturday, April 11, 2015, at 8pm. Members of Brooklyn Raga Massive, as the BRM Groove Ensemble, will also be appearing the Down County Social Club at Race Brook’s Stagecoach Tavern on Thursday, April 9, at 9pm. The Groove Ensemble is an opportunity for BRM members to branch out into more eclectic styles of world music.

Brooklyn Raga Massive has received international praise, from the News India Times and Mid­Day to crushingvinyl.com. News India Times writes that “Though a tradition takes years to establish itself, a group of Indian raga enthusiasts are well on their way to making one for their increasingly multi­ethnic, and hip central Brooklyn neighborhood of Prospect Heights”.
