(PITTSFIELD, Mass.) – Bella’s Bartok celebrates the release of its new album, “Change Yer Life,” with a “CD Release Masquerade Show,” featuring special guests Whiskey Treaty Roadshow and DJ BFG, at the Colonial Theatre on Saturday, April 16 at 8pm.

Bella’s Bartok, birthed in the Berkshires and now based in Northampton, is a six-piece ensemble playing a unique brand of “Bohemian Klezmer-Punk” with pop sensibilities. The “Masquerade Show” will feature an amped-up version of the Bella’s high-energy experience, complete with special effects and surprises. With a masquerade theme, fans are encouraged to come with masks of all kinds.

Bella’s Bartok line-up includes Asher Putnam (vocals and all-around entertainer), Jesse Putnam (accordion, mandolin, guitar, trumpet and vocals), Chris “Fancy” Kerrigan (guitar, clarinet and vocals), Dan Niederhauser (bass and vocals), Amory Drennan (trombone, banjo and vocals), and Crisco (drums/percussion and trumpet).

The band has shared the stage with musicians and acts such as Rubblebucket, Indigo Girls, Larry & His Flask, The Suitcase Junket, And the Kids, Rough Francis, Beau Sasser’s Escape Plan, West End Blend, Adam Ezra Group, Arc Iris, and others.

The Whiskey Treaty Roadshow is a collaborative band which brings together five Massachusetts singer-songwriters – Tory Hanna, Billy Keane, David Tanklefsky, Greg Smith, and Chris Merenda – in the vein of Americana, rock, and roots-folk music. The Whiskey Treaty Roadshow headlined the final 2015 Shire City Sessions show of the year in Pittsfield, and has recently debuted their first live album entitled “The Heart of the Run.”
