Hallie Goodman, Dani Grammerstorf French, Anna Victoria, and Annie Bielski to Read at Spotty Dog

Hallie Goodman

(HUDSON, N.Y.) – Writers Hallie Goodman, Dani Grammerstorf French, Anna Victoria, and Annie Bielski will read from their works at Spotty Dog Books & Ale on Saturday, December 10, at 7pm, as part of Volume, the free monthly reading and music series every second Saturday of the month. The readings – a showcase of emerging writers in Hudson – will be followed by book-signing and a set by DJ Andy French.

 

Hallie Goodman’s writing has appeared many publications, including Glamour, Condé Nast Traveler, Self, Redbook, Chronogram and Paper magazine. She has penned popular blogs for MSN, Fitness magazine, Yahoo Shine, among others. She is a former MARK NYFA Fellow, and a current MFA candidate at Vermont College of Fine Arts.

 

 

Dani Grammerstorf French

Dani Grammerstorf French has an MFA in creative fiction from The New School and has been published in Playgirl, Broken Pencil, and others. She is the co-founder of the long-running Guerrilla Lit Reading Series in NYC. Dani lives in Hudson with her husband and daughter.

 

 

 

 

 

Anna Victoria

Anna Victoria is a writer and photographer based in Hudson. She graduated from the University of Connecticut with a degree in English Literature, and currently uses her writing skills at Etsy, helping confused people use the internet.

 

 

 

 

 

Annie Bielski (photo Jersey Waltz)

Annie Bielski is a writer, performer, and painter based in Hudson, where she regularly organizes and hosts experimental comedy shows. Her first solo show opens in January 2017 at Paris London Hong Kong (Chicago).

 

 

 

Volume is hosted and curated by cofounders Hallie Goodman and Dani Grammerstorf French.
