(STOCKBRIDGE, Mass.) – On Saturday, August 13, Sohn Fine Art Gallery celebrates the launch of Martha Naomi Archambault’s (MNA) new summer jewelry line, Laurelin, featuring handmade, one of a kind, necklaces and earrings, with a cocktail reception with the artist from 5 to 7.
MNA’s new line was inspired by Laurelin, the golden tree of Valinor that shed light on the realm of Valor from JRR Tolkien’s Valequenta and
Middle Earth. Laurelin was the sun, the light of the world upon which all life depended. MNA’s exuberant pieces have been likened to “fireworks” and “bursts of colorful energy.” Archambault’s use of unusual gemstones paired with shooting threads of copper, gold and silver create uniquely wearable pieces of art.
MNA Jewelry is for sale at Sohn Fine Art year-round. New pieces arrive monthly.
Sohn Fine Art Gallery’s Laurelin exhibition begins August 13, 2011.
Public Reception Saturday, August 13, 5 – 7 pm.
