Let It Be: Amazing Book and CD Collections for Sale

After half a lifetime of collecting books and CDs (and LPs), I have decided it is time to liberate myself from the weight of these possessions, and I am seeking a good home for them.

My library numbers in the thousands of books, and includes a strong collection of modern and contemporary fiction (everything from Saul Bellow and Philip Roth to Martin Amis and Michael Chabon); many books about music (especially rock, jazz and Jewish music); a near-complete library of books about Bob Dylan; miscellaneous other finds across the spectrum; and an extraordinary library of Judaica and books about Judaism numbering in the many hundreds, including core texts, scriptures, and contemporary writings.

My CD collection, easily numbering in the thousands (I’m guessing between 2,000 and 3,000), is a fabulous library of popular music from the rock era, thinned out to be strong in classic and indie rock, ranging from the Kinks to the Who to Elvis Costello to Ani DiFranco and the Pretenders; a fabulous jazz collection; hundreds of classical CDs; world music; movie soundtracks; classic pop; compilations; and the most extraordinary and complete collection of klezmer and new Jewish music you are likely to find anywhere.

I am only interested in selling these as complete collections (meaning all the books, and all the music, or both). This is a rare, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Serious inquiries only. Email me at seth@rogovoy.com if you are interested.
