(LENOX, Mass.) – Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Jackson Browne will return to the Shed at Tanglewood for the first time in 15 years on Thursday, July 4, 2013, at 7 p.m., and Grammy Award-winning jazz bassist/vocalist/composer Esperanza Spalding, one of the most exciting new voices in jazz in recent years, will bring her Radio Music Society Tour to Ozawa Hall, making her Tanglewood debut on Sunday, August 4, at 8 p.m.
Singer, songwriter and fiddler Sara Watkins will warm up the Fourth of July crowd for Browne, who appears on Watkins’s latest album, Sun Midnight Sun, and who last performed at Tanglewood with Bonnie Raitt on August 24, 1998. Browne made his Tanglewood debut on July 31, 1973.
