Region’s Top Artists to Be Inducted into Blues Hall of Fame at Club Helsinki Hudson

(HUDSON, N.Y.) – The virtual Blues Hall of Fame will hold an induction ceremony for the region’s top blues artists at Club Helsinki Hudson on Sunday, November 3, at 8pm. The evening will be hosted by Michael Packer and His Blues Band.

The Blues Hall of Fame is dedicated to honoring, showcasing and inducting the great blues artists of the world. It holds local induction ceremonies at which legendary, master and great local blues artists are publicly inducted by their fans and contemporaries.

Among the inductees are many Woodstock- and Hudson Valley-based performers, including keyboardist Bruce Katz (Gregg Allman Band, Delbert McClinton Band, John Hammond); singer-guitarist Murali Coryell; singer Chris O’Leary (Levon Helm and the Barnburners); singer-guitarist Tas Cru; multi-instrumentalist and singer Chris Zaloom; guitarist Chris Vitarello; singer-songwriter, saxophonist, flautist, and pianist Jay Collins (Allman Brothers Band, Levon Helm, Donald Fagen and the Dukes of September); guitarist-keyboardist Ross Rice (Steve Earle, Jill Sobule, Steve Forbert, Peter Frampton); Rick Surrano of Athens, N.Y.; and singer-songwriter-guitarist Nick Bukuvalas.
