(HUDSON, N.Y.) – Rising indie-pop sextet Delta Rae brings its unique blend of rootsy folk-rock and catchy four-part harmonies to Club Helsinki Hudson on Thursday, June 19, at 8pm. The group, featuring three siblings, has often been likened to Fleetwood Mac, and Mac guitarist Lindsey Buckingham gave his stamp of approval to the band by appearing in one of their videos.

Formed in Durham, N.C., Delta Rae consists of siblings Ian Hölljes (vocals and guitar), Eric Hölljes (vocals, guitar, piano and keys) and Brittany Hölljes (vocals), as well as Elizabeth Hopkins (vocals), Mike McKee (percussion) and Grant Emerson (bass guitar). The band formed at Duke University, where Ian and Eric attended. Their debut album. “Carry the Fire,” was released in summer 2012, and they recently released a follow-up EP, “Chasing Twisters,” in advance of their full-length follow-up.

Delta Rae has appeared at festivals including Bonnaroo, Austin City Limits and Voodoo, and will be a featured act at Lollapallooza in Chicago this August.
