(HUDSON, N.Y.) – Over 20 local artists and designers are creating unique collections for Haute Cature, the annual fashion show and auction to benefit Animalkind, Hudson’s cat rescue center, at Club Helsinki Hudson on Sunday, October 18, at 6pm. (Doors open at 5pm.) Hudson’s own Musty Chiffon will be master of ceremonies and auctioneer for the event.
More than 30 models will stride the runway to display “Hudson Style” collections and garments ranging from original and designer clothes to vintage clothes and Halloween costumes. Some of the Cature collections are created using donated clothing, while others will be curated by some of Hudson’s wonderful clothing shops including Five and Diamond, Discipline Park, Collective 23, Look, Kasuri, and Behida Dolic Millinery.
Each and every garment is created with love and kindness by artists, designers and animal advocates of the Hudson Valley. All proceeds will benefit Animalkind, a nonprofit shelter and adoption center for cats in need of medical attention and homes.
