Nester, Ossip and Khar to Read at Spotty Dog

(HUDSON, N.Y.) – Authors Daniel Nester, Kathleen Ossip, and Erin Khar will read from their works at Spotty Dog Books and Ale on Saturday, December 12, at 7pm, as part of the new Volume free reading and music series hosted by Hallie Goodman and Dani Grammerstorf French on the second Saturday of each month. DJ Shannekia Macintosh will spin tunes following the readings.

Daniel Nester is the author of Shader: 99 Notes on Car Washes, Making Out in Church, Grief, and Other Unlearnable Subjects and several other books. He is an associate professor of English at The College of Saint Rose in Albany, N.Y.

Kathleen Ossip is the author of The Do-Over, The Cold War, The Search Engine, and Cinephrastics, She teaches at the New School and online for The Poetry School of London. She is the recipient of a New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowship.

Erin Khar‘s work has appeared in From the Depths, Sliver of Stone, Mr. Beller’s Neighborhood, The Mani- fest-Station, the Spark Off Rose live show and The Fix. Khar is also a regular contributor to Ravishly.
