Andrew Cuomo is headed to Hudson on Tuesday, August 1, to make “an exciting announcement,” according to an email sent to various media outlets. “This administration has been steadfast in its dedication to economic development, and Hudson is no exception,” read the statement, which has caused rampant speculation and hope among Hudsonites that Cuomo will announce that Hudson is being awarded a $10 million grant as part of New York’s Downtown Revitalization Initiative.

The governor’s announcement will take place at Hudson Hall at noon.
