Nerissa and Katryna Nields

(HILLSDALE, N.Y.) – Judy Collins, Garnet Rogers, Susan Werner, Nerissa and Katryna Nields, the Slambovian Circus of Dreams, June Rich, and the Duhks headline the 27th annual Falcon Ridge Folk Festival, taking place at Dodds Farm from Friday through Sunday, July 31 to August 2, 2015.

The festival includes concerts and workshops, hours of dancing on the 7,000-sq.-ft. dance floor, a family stage, kids activities, an international food court, and an array of vendors. The dance tent starts with wake-up yoga and continues until 2am Friday and Saturday. The festival is accessible and ASL-interpreted.

Music ranges from Celtic to Cajun to Americana to Blues, bluegrass, roots, world and swing, with the festival’s trademark singer/songwriters and contradance bands at the center. Artists from Texas, Louisiana, Chicago, Minnesota, North Carolina, Nashville, Winnipeg, Ontario, Wales and closer to home are featured.

Single day, 3-day and camping tickets are available. Ages 12 & under admitted free. Discounts for seniors, college students and teens.

The festival proper kicks off at noon, Friday, July 31, with the critically acclaimed Emerging Artist Showcase.
