Paul McCartney and Wings ‘Rockshow’ to Screen at The Clark

Wings Rockshow(WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass.) — The Paul McCartney and Wings concert film Rockshow will be screened at the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute on Friday, September 13, 2013, at 7pm. Filmed during Wings’ landmark 1975-1976 Wings Over America tour – which produced the 3-LP live album of the same name, arguably one of the greatest live rock albums of all time – the new version of the concert film, documenting a portion of the concert at Seattle’s Kingdome and first released in 1980, includes the complete concert and is fully restored from the original 35mm film with remastered sound.

Rockshow captures Wings at its peak, including live versions of such massive hit records as “Silly Love Songs,” “Let ‘em In,” “Listen to What the Man Said,” “Jet,” and “Band on the Run.” It also features McCartney performing a few Beatles songs.

Tickets are $12 ($10 members). To purchase tickets, visit Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute or call 413 458 0524.
