(PITTSFIELD, Mass.) – WAM Theatre’s critically acclaimed production of The Attic, The Pearls and Three Fine Girls, a comedy collectively written by Jennifer Brewin, Leah Cherniak, Ann-Marie MacDonald, Alisa Palmer and Martha Ross, closes this weekend, with performances on Friday and Saturday at 8 pm and Sunday, November 20, 2011, at 3pm at Barrington Stage Company Stage 2 in Pittsfield. The production is the Berkshire premiere of this Canadian play. In keeping with WAM’s double philanthropic mission, a portion of proceeds from the production will be donated to The Berkshire United Way Teen Pregnancy Prevention Initiative.

WAM artistic director Kristen van Ginhoven says, “It’s the last weekend of WAM’s show, and in addition to having three performances left, we are putting the final push on our 100×100 Campaign. We reached 70 earlier this week so have 30 more donations of $100 to reach our goal and help fund our productions. For anyone who comes to the play this weekend and donates right at the theatre, 25% of their $100 donation will go to the Teen Pregnancy Prevention Initiative, which will be on top of the 25% of the box office proceeds we are donating. We have a matching donor who is giving one donation per five that are made this weekend at the theatre.”
