UPDATE:

George Klemp of Westport, Conn., is the lucky winner of the Magic Fluke promotion. George contributed to the Rogovoy Report early on, and generously, and his generosity is being rewarded by the good folks at Magic Fluke, the Sheffield-based company that designs and manufactures a whole line of affordable, USA-made ukuleles, with his choice of a soprano Flea ukulele or a soprano Firefly banjo ukulele, with case – a $214 retail value!

(SHEFFIELD, Mass.) – The good folks at Magic Fluke, the Sheffield-based company that designs and manufactures a whole line of affordable, USA-made ukuleles, are offering the opportunity for contributors to the Rogovoy Report to be enrolled in a giveaway to win a free ukulele as a way to thank the community for its support of the Rogovoy Report’s curated e-newsletters and online stories it provides free to all.

For every $10 contribution made to the Rogovoy Report between now and November 30, 2013, participants will be enrolled in this thank-you giveaway program. Every $10 increment counts toward another chance to win, e.g., $40 = 4 chances to win; $80 = 8 chances to win. A contributor will be selected randomly at the end of the month to receive a soprano Flea ukulele or a soprano Firefly banjo ukulele, with case – a $214 retail value!

Like the Rogovoy Report itself, Magic Fluke is a homegrown, independently owned effort through and through. Despite unrelenting competition from imports, Magic Fluke has stuck to its original premise of providing USA-made, unique, affordable, high-quality instruments. Magic Fluke always strives to source components and materials as close to home as possible, including harvesting some of its own lumber. In keeping with the spirit of the Berkshires, Magic Fluke goes out of its way to support local businesses and the community, even if it’s not always the lowest-cost solution.
