THE KLEZMATICS to BRING KLEZMER-ROCK FUSION to MAHAIWE

(GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass.) – The Klezmatics, widely considered to be the world’s greatest modern klezmer group, perform at the Mahaiwe on Saturday, November 16, 2013, at 8pm. Founded in 1986 in New York City, the Klezmatics almost singlehandedly pioneered the klezmer renaissance, helping to revive the traditional music and give it a contemporary, universal appeal in much the same way the Beatles did with rock ‘n’ roll.
